"Segun" from West Africa wins asylum!

“Segun” is from an unstable, West African country and was targeted by terrorist groups. 

When it was clear that his life was in danger, Segun fled to the US, and was subsequently placed in detention. A CIJF-funded attorney took his case, and Segun was granted asylum earlier this year. 

Segun is one of nearly 60 asylum seekers whose legal cases were funded by the Colorado Immigrant Justice Fund in 2025. Thank you for making this possible!
