CIJF attorneys continue to win asylum cases

CIJF has developed a cohort of over 20 trusted immigration attorneys to represent detained immigrants in court. 

Thus far in 2025, CIJF has funded over 30 asylum cases, and our attorney partners have achieved a win rate of over 50%. This is especially impressive under the current administration. 

CIJF is funding asylum cases for immigrants detained in Aurora, Colorado; Calexico, California; and various detention centers in Louisiana.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, clients from Chad, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, Somalia and Tajikistan have won asylum. With your help, many more can gain their freedom!
