CIJF is partnering with community advocates in support our friend "Javier".

Javier is a 76-year-old Cuban gentleman who suffers from dementia and was detained by ICE last month.

Without the assistance of an attorney, Javier will likely be deported to Cuba, where he will be in grave danger.

We have retained a highly qualified attorney to represent Javier in immigration court. We anticipate that the legal fees will total $7,500.

CIJF can contribute $3,000, and Javier’s friends are working to crowdsource the remaining $4,500.
